It would be great if life was always rosy and bad things never happened. It would be wonderful if we could look back at our lives with no regrets or mistakes. But we both know the reality of life. We have experienced pain, failures, and stuff we wish we could redo... but we can't. It's permanent. It's forever. It's over.

Or is it? The first century rabbi, Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthian Church; "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) Let his words shoot adrenaline into your soul!

"re" finds its way on to the front end of a lot of words. This little prefix has tremendous power. You can reclaim your life, you can reconcile damaged relationships, you can rekindle your passion and reinforce your character and redirect the focus of your life. It's not over! There is hope! Let's rejoice together! Let's remember God's grace and relax in His hand as He recreates us in the image of His Son!
